Mein Deutsche ist schrecklich!

I did however come across a disc that seems worthy of note:

A quote from Linuxmusician.com (http://www.linuxmusician.com/index.php?Itemid=1)

Keyboards Magazine (German) has published a bootable DVD that launches a Linux Audio Live CD featuring the complete series of audio apps that ship with SUSE 9.2 (including PD and SuperCollider). A HTML-document provides information and many links to demo scripts that start combinations of audio apps, including synths (ams, AEOLUS, ZynAddSubFX, PD, SuperCollider), Hydrogen, NoteEdit and JAAA. A complete sample recording session wired up with JACK and sent through JAMin is also provided as script. The DVD also includes Ardour, MusE and many other programs.

Babelfish refused to translate their page for me for an unknown reason. It appears that you can download a cd here:

If some kind German-speakng individual could provide us with more details that would be fabulous. Maybe I'll download the cd and give it a whirl. Hopefully it supports English.

Right, this is an audio-focused SuSE 9.2 Live CD, and a list of international mirrors is here: http://www.suse.de/de/private/download/ftp/ausland.html

Look for pub/suse/i386/live-cd-9.2/SUSE-Linux-9.2-LiveCD-Audio.iso
