i'd like to get Knoppix to work with my wirelessNIC, preferably by sticking the drivers onto the CD somewhere (before burning) and having it auto-detect it on start up.
i have a dlink DWL 520+ , and dlink (http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=357&question=General%20Wireless) sent me here (http://acx100.sourceforge.net/), which then eventually sent me here (http://lisas.de/~andi/acx100/) i think. now what do i need to download from there?
and then what do i do? i have winrar so i can edit the ISO..
i downloaded knoppix 3.6 (thought it was the latest) but i can get 3.7 if that is going to be an issue (rather not bother if it makes no difference).
i am currently using a laptop w/ xp sp2 connected to my cable modem and a wireless NIC (DWL 650+) to distribute the internet.. so what would i have to do to configure it in knoppix? could i make some kind of 'settings' file before hand and burn it to the CD so that it would auto load these settings on start up from just the cd?
