Gaim KNoppix 3.2

In knppoix 3.2 beta 03-26-03 when i use gaim for yahoo i get this error
connection error
xile6 has been signed off: Unable to read

can anyone help me with this? and i hear somthing about you needed a new yahoo plugin for it but where do i download this?

the problem with gaim not connecting to yahoo was fixed in the next version after that edition that was included with knoppix 3.2. gaim patches (more like *hacks* :-) ) into different networks without cooperation of yahoo, aol, and msn, thus they have to do runarounds to be able to connect to those networks.

short answer: get the current version of gaim to connect to yahoo.

my questions: who knows where there is a deb of the newest version?

is it easy to make a deb from a tarball (*.tar.gz)?
