what is the samba server password?

i started the samba server and i clicked yes to mount all hard drives and make them both readable and writable. i see the server on the network with my windows xp pc . but i cant log in without a password or with the root password i set. what is the password? im new new to this :?

sorry i missed the screen when you startup samba and it asks you to set the password somehow :D
