If it's really a prism2 it'll use the wlan-ng driver
http://www.linux-wlan.org/

or the hostap driver
http://hostap.epitest.fi/

Depending on the version of the kernel you're running,
there may or may not be debs available.

You can build your own modules, though.
I like the hostap driver now,but I used to
use wlanng.Either will work,but you'll probably have
an easier time building hostap.Hostap is iwconfig
compliant,meaning knoppix's wlcardconfig will work.
Wlanng uses it's own control apps to configure the card,
so wlcardconfig doesn't work.

I'd see if you could find deb modules for the kernel you are
running first. If not, you'll have to build your own.
I built both on my sid box.If you have problems,I'll check my
notes.

Google is your friend.
The little search box on this page works pretty good, too.

"cardctl ident" as root with the card inserted will tell you
how knoppix "sees" your card. If it's a prism2,this will tell you.
