The only problem with this pdf is that its based on V3.3. The basics it describes won't have changed much I guess.

Booting has, for one, along with any advice it might offer about working with NTFS.

Since installing Knoppix results in a Linux installation that is more than 90% Debian "testing" (AKA Sarge), it would be benefical to visit this site: http://www.debian.org/support . That site contains newgroup URL, etc...

And, this Knoppix forum is excellent too!

Since Debian has a Social Contract with you and me that guarantee's that Debian will only require 100% GPL and other free software to run, you won't find your GPL rights being restricted like commerical distro and their EULAs do.
