Dear all

Have Knoppix 3.7 from live CD, which is a great piece of software.
Unfortunately Knoppix can not detect my Network card (USR997902)

Does any body know how to fix this problem? But pls remind, I have no floppy,
and no access to Internet with Knoppix (regarding the missing detection of the NIC)

Hi,

I don't have such a card, but from googleing it seems the card uses a RTL8169 chip. A driver
for this card is part of the linux kernel. The documentation suggests that an insmod r8169
might be all that you have to do (as user root).
