Thanks yet again to Klaus Knopper for another super edition of Knoppix. What a great Christmas gift !
To install to hard drive, I selected the (I think it was called) "new user" option in preference to "Knoppix-style" or "Debian-style" and the installation rolled out beautifully.
Malheureusement. While the KDE (CUPS) printer-configurator will run my Epson SC880 printer using either the Gimp-Print ijs driver or "rawprinter".....the "Gimp-Print (recommended)" option is still refused.
Anyone else had the same refusal in 3.7?
"Drews" reported here (Aug.27) finding a fix for Knoppix 3.4: "fix-cups.sh", a script written by Kano (Kanotix), posted on

"Nadrach" reported on 18Oct the way in which he used the same script to fix Knoppix 3.6. And "Nic MFP" replied: "YES! IT WORKS!" (But, he said, only after resorting to the HTML interface).
Can anyone please confirm that this script still works on Knoppix 3.7 ?
Is this script likely still the simplest fix ?
