Customization during remaster process

Hello,
I followed the How to on remastering knoppix using scripts http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13867 and i have a question how can edit the start up html page, desctop background and background while booting?

/usr/local/lib/knoppix.bmp (or something close to the
/cdrom/index.html
/cdrom/knoppix.jpg (or something like that)

The background files might be called background instead of knoppix, now that I think about it....
