I haven't touched LInux in about 4 months, so I'm rustier than a railroad from 1870, but I want to do a dual boot with Windows 98 without having to back up everything. Anybody know how? :D

Run the installer: knoppix-installer. If you need to resize your windows partition it would be wise to backup your data anyway. I would not attempt resizing without backup. If you already have your linux partitions made then just go through the install, really no need to backup then. When you install knoppix the bootloader lilo will take over if you install it to the mbr. Your win98 OS will automatically be added to the list along with knoppix. Dueling banjos.

How big should the Linux partition be?
