knoppix.build scipts not found

After downloading and extracting the remaster scripts I get an error "Knoppix.build scripts not found" Check in current dir or in /var/something/something

They are in the same directory and copying them to the location mentioned doesen't help.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?
