Please help me how to use this kernel for scsi harddisk
when i use this kernel it says kernel panic, couldn't find sda1

I'm not really clear on what it is you're trying to do. Have you installed Knoppix to a scsi drive? If so, it shouldn't matter whether it's a scsi drive or an ide drive. As long as your boot loader is looking for it in the right place. Post some system details and tell us what you want to do exactly.

It was rectified as i missed using image = /boot/initrd.gz, so now it is working alright, is is not possible to have default kernel loading with scsi adapter without using image=/boot/initrd.gz
