Hello,

the situation looks like that
hda - 36 GB disk , 25GB NTFS partition, the rest is ext3 for Knoppix...
hdb - 120 GB disk, all NTFS

I need 2 be able to use files from NTFS but also _write_ them down so
that I can read them uder windowz...

Is it possible? If so, then how sure (writin' on a NTFS partition) is?
Maybe the best idea would be to make a shared FAT32 partition ?

Any ideas?

Best regards

You almost answered yourself to your own question. Yes, you can write on a NTFS drive from Linux but at your own risk. A drive corruption may occur at any time. So it's best to have a vfat partition to transfer files from a OS to the other.
