Hello,
i had booted my Computer with Knoppix 3.7 and parted my atariad (pdcraid) in different partions.
(I use a fasttrack 100 with mirror, and it looks fine knoppix find the raid!)
That works fine. But when i start knoppix-installer he shows me only the raw disk (hdg, hde) with my partions.
i had look a little bit around and found that the installer use fdisk -l to find the partions.
So i can't manually edit the konfigfile for installer.
Is it possible to give the knoppix-installer a hint to use /dev/atariad/d0 ? (fidsk -l /dev/ataraid/d0 works)
I'm not a good programmer and i haven't an idea what is really going on in the install script.
I can install many kinds of differnt operating systems, so i'm not a newbie but scripting isn't my favorite.
Best regards
Thank you for the great knoppix live CD's, it the best tool to work in all kind of trouble with OS's
