when i try to boot this i get about halfway through
then it stops at
looking for CDROM in /dev/nc10




how do i fix this?

/dev/nc10 Never heard of /dev/nc? but have you tried the atapicd cheatcode (http://download.linuxtag.org/knoppix/knoppix-cheatcodes.txt)

Well, if atapicd didn't work, try nodma and if that doesn't work, just start trying different no- cheats.

knoppix noscsi nodma atapicd
might be a good combo, or perhaps

knoppix26 noscsi nodma atapicd
