Cordless Mouse Help

Hardware:
Logitech Cordless Access Duo Optical - keyboard , mouse , usb receiver


WinXp:
Everything works fine in windows so is not the hardware.


Linux (Knoppix 3.7):
So far only the cordless keyboard works.
the cordless mouse does not do anything.


Help:
Anyway to check the mouse? Sorry this my 3rd day of Linux.
Fixing 1 problem at a time.
