Mozilla won't launch

Hello, sorry if this has been posted before, i did a search and couldn't find it so...

I'm trynig Knoppix 3.7 and whenever i try to lauch mozilla the icon bounces up and down and then stops, mozilla is not launched. I have also tried to launch it from the command line to the same result (sans little jumping icon)

Has anyone else run across this? any solutions or causes?

Just curious. What error (if any) do you get at the command line?

It just thinks for a while and the prompt comes back up.

Your using the live CD right, not a HD install?

I doubt this will help, but have you tried a different window manager or running Mozilla as a different user? This is a shot in the dark at best, I've never had a program fail without giving somekind of error.
