i got an NEC Multisync XV17+, and the driver for this screen is already on the cd, however when i look at the screen options it shopws that it picked another driver (something generic for NEC), and my graphics card, ati radeon 9800 pro, was labeled as a secondary, and linux was using the built in graphics card instead... whats happening? also, my screen goes wiggy when i try to enter any other res mode than i get at startup (840 x 1024 i think, something like that).
