I am currently booting knoppix 3.4 from the cd drive and then from the boot prompt loading from hd as...
knoppix myconfig=scan home=scan fromhd=scan
and that will load knoppix just fine.. HOWEVER.. once i remove the knoppix cd (i.e. everything is booted, and is now loading off HD), i can't use any cd drives for audio CDs! if i insert an audio cd into the drive that i used to boot knoppix, it won't mount (mount point doesn't exist). But if i put the knoppix CD back in that loads up just fine. Why?
(I did a tohd=/dev/hda1 earlier, and hda1 is my ONLY partition. it loads as /cdrom when using fromhd=scan // THUS /cdrom is my hard drive contents!)
