You'll need ndiswrapper, which, unfortunately, doesn't
come with STD.It does come with knoppix 3.7, however.
Search this forum for ndiswrapper for MANY tutorials on
getting these cards to work.

i just order a PCMCIA proxim ORiNOCO Wireless Classic Gold Card off of ebay. i heard this card was a good one.

is there anything special i am gonna have to do to knoppix STD to get it working? ordered this card because of monitor mode, i heard Broadcom wireless nics dont support it.

can someone point me to a good tutorial for setting the orinoco nic up into monitor mode etc etc?

thanks.
