Before I Start Knoppix

Hi guys. I'm a techophobic know nothing when it comes to things like this. I was wondering if there was a noobs guide to using Knoppix. Also before i start using Knoppix, will it work ok on my PC and will the things on my PC work ok with Knoppix? Dont laugh, but it's an emachine 390, 2.3GHz intel celeron, Imperial-GL mother board, intel extreme graphics. Any thoughts, experiances and information would be greatly appreciated. :)

it will likely work, how well depends on exactly what program we are speaking of and what you want to do.

Thanks guys. It worked a treat, apart from my DVD player and viewing videos clips online (BBC News etc...). But i guess thats not a big problem. :)
