:D everytime i load my knoppix cd will i have too re configure my desktop?it wont save my email settings or my keyboard settings from american too uk.also why does it boot me off my internet connection after a while and iam on broadband.

If you want to ask 2 unreleated questions you should really start two threads. And the one about networking should be in the networking forum. "help" is not an informative subject line for either question and will reduce the quanity of help you get. It will also make you post less useful to others searching the forums for information later.
