This was the 1st time I ran any type of linux distro., and booted-up with the 'failsafe' option to aviod previose boot failures.

Another Question if you don't mind, I really appreciate your help.
If I unpacked the iso or copied cd to hd would it be possible to run knoppix from the hd?
Or are other distros. better for this purpose?
