Hi,

I'm out of lucky trying to install Knoppix 3.8 on a HP DL380 with Smart Array 6i.

Knoppix does not recognizes automatically the disks (RAID 0) , but after "MAKEDEV cciss" inside /dev fdsik recognizes it and I can mount the partitions:

# fdisk -l /dev/cciss/c0d0

Disk /dev/cciss/c0d0: 36.4 GB, 36414750720 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 4427 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 * 1 4296 34507588+ 83 Linux
/dev/cciss/c0d0p2 4297 4427 1052257+ 82 Linux swap

# mount
...
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 on /mnt/mirror type ext3 (rw)

The sad thing is that knoppix-installer can not handle the /dev/cciss/c0d0 and says the installation requirements were not fullfilled...

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
