If you do not need Knoppix and just want OpenOffice on your PC, then visit http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.4/index.html and download the appropriate install file for your OS and your language.

also if i need to use winzip with the knoppix OS, can i do it some how or the winzip can be use only in windows OS?Knoppix has a graphical program that is very similar to WinZip. It is called ark and can be found in the K menu under utilities.
I hope this helps.

i need a version of knoppix that boots from the cd that has only OpenOffice on it. You could remaster if you feel up to it. Better yet, you could just use the programs that you want and not worry about the other programs on the CD.

There is a open source program that deals with zip files called 7-Zip that you might want to look into.

i want it to use the smallest amount of space possible. It's a Live CD. You're pretty much going to use 12cm diameter of CD no matter what you do, unless you pay more for one of those tiny CDs. If that's what you want a much simpler question to ask would be if there is a live CD distro that includes Open Office and fits on a shirt pocket or business card CD.
