Hi i am a newbi with linux and i am using the dynalink rta 100+ usb modem to connect to the net but i cant get knoppix to see the modem if i click on the usb view it shows it as an unknown device but when i click it all its info comes up can anyone help

ps i got a ntsf hd so i cant save to it and knoppix is runing off the cd thanks

to be honest USB modems are not vell suported in Linux.
most serial modems and DSL modems with ethernet are 100% suported though.
