I downloaded KNOPPIX_V3.8-2005-02-28-CeBIT_Edition.iso it not english can I make this thing english? Currently its German is there a boot option or a KDE option that changes it to english?

try it with the bootoption

knoppix lang=en

One word of advise: the = is under the 0. so press shift-0 to get an =
