Probing

When I try to boot from the Knopppix LiveCD that O have made it stops loading at 'Probing SCSI.......a (something), any ideas?

At the knoppix boot splash screen enter:
knoppix noscsi

or
knoppix atapicd

if the cd-rom is on hda3 (ide secondary), or hda2 (ide primary slave) ((??))
and it tries to find a cd-rom on a scsi interface, well, I don't know why either,.....
but atapicd fixed it for me
