I was looking at some things and saw a "make a persistent Knoppix home directory"

What is that? What does it do? I'm running 3.7 live CD.

is a very poor topic.


if you always boot from the cd-rom, and would like to be able to have settings saved somewhere,
you make a knoppix directory somewhere in your normal OS hdd, and, or should that be, but you have to boot with
knoppix home=/hda/temp/knoppix

read in http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Cheat_Codes to see if it makes more sense to you....

dont worry you get better at it... i think one of me first subject things was... "soo how is the weather" at a different site... and it doesnt talk about the weather... (but is now still running for nearly over a year now.. :D)... :D
