Changing The Computer Name ((HELP))

I need to have a direct connection with Knoppix and i have the provider @home wich uses a CP adress wich you need to place as the computername for you to be able to connect with internet so how do you change the computername with Knoppix, i hope to see a reply soon

Note:
Already fixed the internet problem with the router, but now my assignment is to make direct connection :D

--Unless you're into security (linux firewalling) I'd go thru the router. My Squid server is setup with iptables, but I'm still going thru a Belkin box + a bunch of switches to share the connection. Also, make frequent backups. ;-)
