USB mouse & keyboard

Is there a way to get a live CD to recognize my USB mouse and keyboard. Specifically I would like it to recognize a Saitek Gamers keyboard and a Logitech MX1000 mouse. This would be so nice, I don't like swapping out my mouse and keyboard all the time :D . Thanks for any help.

Is there a way to get a live CD to recognize my USB mouse and keyboard. .
Once booted it recognizes my USB mice just fine and from conversations with others it has recognized their USB keyboards too. But unless your BIOS helps make the USB keyboard look like a "normal" keyboard then it might not see the keyboard at boot time so you would not be able to use it to put in "cheat codes".
