Not Saving Over reboot

This problem occurs with xchat and windows on Knoppix 3.7 with a saved home directory and a saved config. (ie knoppix home=/dev/hda1 config=/dev/hda1 start command line).

However when one reboots by clicking on the K quickstart menu Logout|Restart Computer the xchat irc connect menu is not saved. And neither is the korganizer data.

It's funny because it must of saved correctly at one point since the inital nickname is already there for xchat.

There is also plenty of disk space left.

What could be the problem?[/b]

It seems the Knoppix save config. doesn't save much at all.
My post is about the term. server not starting at bootup.
I'm not sure what it saves, no one knows or will say.

I saw a web page that told that the "knoppix.sh" file made
by "save Knoppix config." could be used.
