This is my first remaster. I'm making a LAMP-Live CD, which has to include my PHP application for private reasons. Anyways, in trimming stuff down to fit the suite, I didn't see why kdm was necessary, and apt-get removed it. After done, I realized it had removed knx-installer!

I've been doing this all from a chroot environment off the Knoppix 3.7 CD, and my remaster is based on that. I've installed and configured loads of stuff, so I'd prefer not to redo it. This won't be installed, is knx-installer really necessary? At first I thought not, but isn't hdinstall for hard drive install? If it is necessary, can I restore it? :?:

Thanks in advance!

it is only nessesary if you want to hdd install later (from the CD).
search some, there is a posting how to add it back somewhere in the last few months.
