Is there a menu item i can use to defrag a windows ME harddrive with knoppix 3.4 ? how about terminal linux command? I tried looking thur the man pages, and using apropos.

Windows HDs should only be defraggable/defragged with Windows tools. Norton Utilities comes to mind.

However, you *can* back things up using something like tar/rar/zip, reformat the filesystem, and restore.
