Aldi Medion MD95500 Notebook:Problems with Marvell Yukon NIC

Hi,

my new notebook has a Intel wlan (ipw2200) and a Marvell Yukon 88E8036 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller ,
lspci shows

0000:02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd.: Unknown device 4351 (rev 10)

Marvell`s Linuxdriver for the Yukon NIC's is (sk98lin)
sudo modprobe sk98lin
loads the driver but dmesg does not give messages. lsmod shows
Module Size Used by
sk98lin 158304 0

netcardconfig wants to configure wlan but no ethernet
removing wlan (rmmod ipw2200), netcardconfig sees no ethernetcard but sk98lin is still loaded.

any suggestions??

I have the same Problem with most Linux Distributions, except when running SuSe 9.3, but there I got Problems with the Sound and the DVB-Tuner.

Any more suggestions? ;-)
