I am hoping to use Knoppix both as a live system on cd and as a normal sytem installed to hard disk on various machines.
On my laptop using the CD I am trying to set up wireless networking using a 3com 3crwe154g72 card. However this card is given the designation eth1, when you try to set up the config (using wavlan) you are only offered choices for eth0, this is the default motherboard lan port. This seems daft, or is it me who's daft. Can anyone shed any light on this enigma and for that matter is anyone using this type of card. :)
