ADSL.. <- does it use the same company???

ok... as some will know, i finally got the computer connected to the internet to have a linux partion... yack yack, end of story...

anyway, lets get to the point... i am connected to BigPond (unlimited), and i was wondering, in linux it found me modem fine, but was wondering if it was connected to BigPond and not anyother company...

and also, just any info you can give me thanks...

i'm just going to assume its the same company... because you dont call the company, the modem syncronizes with it...

When I configure my ADSL conection I wrote may user name in this shape [user_name]@[provider_name] (in my case - verat.net). This is it. So you go to wrigt company.
