I am running Knoppix 3.8.1 on Vmware 5 and it works great.
The only problem is that it won't increase resolution past 1024x768. At the boot prompt I type in:
knoppix myconfig=scan /dev/sda knoppix screen=1280x1024
and it does correctly load the saved data from the virtual SDA drive, but the screen resolution doesn't change. I also tried doing the resolution alone and it didn't change it.
Is this a problem with Vmware or just a missing detail on my part?
