No internet!!!

Hey,

Here is the deal.....

i have the knoppix CD...its boots up fine but i have no coneection to the net..i get an ip address. I have tried netcardconfig..that didn't work.. any suggestions?

Perhaps you could provide the slightest hint as to how you actually connect to the internet. Dial up - cable- are you networked? etc.
