I have installed the 3.7 on the harddrive and can see the login after boot.
I can login as one of the users, no problem, but when i enter root and the correct pw for root in the login mask, I am getting an answer: you are not allowed to login as root .

I have searched all obvious in KDE setting, but nothing found. In console, logging in as root with su gives no problems however.

Anyone knows why this is so?

This is a new "trick", which protect you not only from others, but from you yourself as well!
