After hd-install of Knoppix 3.8.2 on a dual opteron with SATA hardware raid booting kernel 2.6.11 from harddrive stops complaining about absent sd_mod. In fact sd_mod.ko is missing in the initrd.img as well as on CD. The file loadmodules in the root of initrd contain a line modprobe sd_mod, which is obviously impossible. Was the module just forgotten? How do I get it?
