I burned the software twice am using 3.8.2 the cheksums all check out ok. When I boot up and press enter the last line is.
Kernal Panic not syncing attempt to kill Init. Then the system hangs. Any Ideas?

Box/hw being used ...

And go through it a few times and write down as much of the screen messages as you can.

Have you experimented with the (cheatcodes) boot codes. You could try using them to turn off as much of the boot time detection process as possible. It may just be some hw conflict or something along those lines.

How do you edit the boot commands? I have tried to access the boot directory on the disk but was unable to.

This should work: failsafe -b 1
Does this work for you?
