View Full Version : How to scan images with Epson Perfection 2400 Photo

Hi,
any time I try to scan images with a knoppix program like Kooka or xscanimage, it says there is no scanner. What can I do to get it working? The scanner is on and correctly connected to the Computer. The scanner is Epson Perfection 2400 Photo and connected via USB to the computer.

You need to verify that the scanner is being detected by the kernel, meaning: is it loading the drivers?

Load up this thread in knoppix then copy & paste each these commands into command line window:
dmesg > hardware.txt
echo "**lsmod**" >> hardware.txt
lsmod >> hardware.txt
kate hardware.txt

Then copy & paste the text into this thread.
