Is there an ics provider for knoppix >_> I don't really know much and i didn't c anything in the stikies >_> btw i have an ethernet hub and a Speedstream modem so it does the routing

i assumed u r talking about internet connection program. Firestarter is a firewall program which lets u to share ur internection connection
got to http://klik.atekon.de/
and type firestarter in the search
then download the software

As I read the above, your modem is one with a built-in router. If that is correct, great! You have a hub. For most uses a switch is better, but for a small number of computers a hub will be fine and you likely will not see the difference (unless it's a 10mb/s hub and is keeping you from running at 100 mb/s between local computers. Internet speed will not be affected in any case.) So what are you wanting to do with ICS that the router and hub are not already doing for you better?
