Hello,

I would like to boot Knoppix via network. Unfortunately I receive the following error:

Trying to mount CD on 192.168.1.1:/tftpboot/knoppix_v39... b44: eth0: transmit timed out, resetting
Failed.
Trying to mount CD on 192.168.1.1... Failed.
Please enter NFS directory (aka "192.168.0.1:/cdrom"):
The strange thing is, that when I now enter
192.168.1.1:/tftpboot/knoppix_v39 Knoppix is able to mount the NFS share! So all settings are correct.
Maybe things are going to fast for the network card? It looks to me like a reset is necessary, which is done right after the first error.
Has anyone ever expired similar problems? Is it possible to append a parameter to the kernel in order to reset to nic?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
