Save knoppix configuration to file?

I see that my knoppix configuration can be saved to the floppy or to a mounted harddrive.

I'd prefer to ftp the configuration to a foreign server, then, restore from that server.

Is there a way, outside the GUI, to save all configuration to a file, and later to load the config from that file?
