Error 9 9 9

After installing an older version of Knoppix 3.2 my pc types out a lot of 9 in a period of seconds. after writing 4 lines the pc will reboot automatically. what have i done wrong?

what have i done wrong?
1. You installed Knoppix rather than installing Debian, an then were surprised when you had problems.

2. You posted about it in a hardware and booting forum rather than in the HDD Install forum
