Hello everybody,

I am trying to make this card work. It's seen as serial modem (cardinfo) and it works when I use the diagnostic program!
Actually once it worked but just as GSM (9600).It does not work when it comes to GPRS connection.

Does anybody know how i can use this pcmcia gprs card? Is the PIN number a problem since in windows the native vodafone program asks for it? (I have also tried to remove it and it worked but GSM )

many thx

If its PCMCIA with serial cable. You can use wvdial as the dialer.
>>> Download wvdial.rpm <<< (http://rapidshare.de/files/2570369/wvdial.rpm.html)

Configure it as follows. Type or copy and paste the text given below, to /etc/wvdial.conf

[Modem0]
Modem=/dev/ttyS0
Baud=115200
SetVolume=0
Dial Command = ATDT
init1=ATZ
init2=AT+CRM=1
FlowControl= Hardware (CRTSCTS)
[Dialer tata]
Username= internet
Password= internet
Phone=#777
Stupid Mode= 1
