file:///mnt/cdrom Error

When I try to open the cdrom in linux, it gives the following error:Unable to run the command specified. The file or folder file:///mnt/cdrom does not exist.

I have installed linux on a VMware Workstation.

How do I mount my cdrom, and my usb cd-r etc.

You may need tp check the /etc/fstab file and see how it mounts the cdrom drive
