I may be going way beyond the capability of Knoppix 4.0; but I tried installing the free Turboprint on Knoppix hard drive installation; and keyboard does not work on admin root password window. Anyone have any similar problem? The default preferred Debian hard drive installation left me with some unresolvable display problems. I like the crisper icon layout of Knoppix 4.0 and would like to find a way to work around the bugs, if possible. I tried to use Alien but am totally lost in that installer.
